MANILA, Philippines — Actress Nikki Valdez mourns the sudden death of her 12-year-old pet dog Trevor.
Nikki shared the passing of her beloved fur baby on Instagram.
“No pet parent can ever be ready for this kind of pain…” Nikki said.
“Last night, we lost our beloved senior, Trevor. It was so unexpected and sudden,” she added.
Nikki said that Trevor has an enlarged heart since 2021.
“My boy, my strong boy Trevor… You were so little but had a lot of love and happiness to give. You were a fighter — survived an emergency surgery at nine years old and continued to fight an enlarged heart since 2021,” she said.
“Up until your last breath, you tried so hard. I thank you for that. It pains me and all of us, specially your Nonna (wala na siyang roommate babe), but we are grateful knowing you gave us so many happy memories to keep.
“Run free and rest now. Say hi to your bro Travis and have the best time in doggie heaven where there is no pain and you can finally have all the bananas, watermelon and other treats that you love.
“We love you sooooo much my litol Lolo.. Goodnight. Sleep tight.”
